Updated July 1st 2026
If there’s one thing I check more consistently than my bank balance, it’s the 99p Kindle deals.
When you use a Kindle, you lose the joy of finding a cheap book in a second hand bookshop. The Kindle daily and monthly deals are the closest I get to that. For digital books, I refuse to pay full price if I don’t have to. I’ve always found it slightly offensive to pay £8 for a digital file I don’t technically “own,” so I can’t wait to check these deals each month and share them with you all.
Every month I’ll be browsing the Amazon Kindle deals and pulling together the best 99p Kindle book deals – thrillers, romance, non-fiction, hidden gems, the lot. If it’s gripping, highly rated or just too good to ignore for 99p, it’s going on this list.
Why Trust This List?
This is a handpicked list of what I believe to be the very best bargains this month. It’s not just scraped directly from Amazon, each book has been selected because of it’s contents, quality, reputation or reviews.
Occasionally, I might include a book that’s slightly over 99p – but only if it’s an absolute bargain and worth stretching for.
About July’s amazon kindle book deals
Amazon is offering a HUGE selection of great Kindle books this July, most for just 99p! There are some especially great picks if you’re a lover of history or historical fiction.
My top recommendation: Poor Charlie’s Almanack – A fantastic short book of business and life advice.
If you’re wondering where to start, here is what’s on my personal radar this month:
- Light hearted fiction: Satsuma Complex
- Historical thriller: Conclave (this is a new book so I was surprised to see it on the monthly deals!)
- The crime pick: White Tiger
- The non-fiction pick: Most Dangerous Enemy: History of the battle of Britain
- The Sci-Fi pick: The Martian (I seriously loved this book)
- The wildcard: Idiot by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
What are you picking up this month?
A quick heads-up
Book prices on Amazon change quickly (sometimes daily), so while everything listed was 99p at the time of updating, I’d recommend snapping up anything you fancy sooner rather than later.
💡 If you’re planning on buying more than 10 of these, Kindle Unlimited is actually cheaper. They almost always have a free trial or a ‘3 months for 99p’ deal running. It’s worth checking the offer before you start spending your 99ps.
💡If you already pay for Amazon Prime delivery, check Prime Reading first. A lot of these 99p titles are actually included for free in your membership. If you aren’t a member, just grab the 30-day free trial, raid the library, and cancel.

Make this your monthly habit
I’ll be updating this list on the 1st of every month. If you’re as obsessed with a bargain as I am, bookmark or pin this page so you don’t miss the next drop.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a I have a digital “to-read” pile to ignore while I go buy three more.

One more thing
This page uses affiliate links which means if you click on a book and purchase it, I will earn a very small commission (usually about £0.03 on a Kindle book deal). This happens at no extra cost to you and helps to support this blog.
